From the team’s infamous early days in New Orleans to the heights of Stockton-to-Malone and beyond, the Utah Jazz have a storied history at NBA All-Star Weekend.

NBA All-Star Weekend 2019 is here and, for the second consecutive year, the Utah Jazz find themselves without representation in the big game on Sunday. It’s a strange development (or lack of development?) for a team that is well on its way to a third-straight playoff berth.

Sure, you could write off last year’s All-Star Game snubbage because the Jazz were struggling before the break. This year, though, there’s no explaining the fact that Rudy Gobert, who ranks third in the NBA in win shares, didn’t make the cut.

But hey, here at The J-Notes, we’re not about focusing on what we don’t have. We’re more into the good things we do have. And, over the years, the Jazz have had a slew of awesome moments at All-Star Weekend.

Ouch.

OK, so that one probably won’t go down in the Jazz annals, but since the team entered the league in the 70s, they’ve captured the All-Star spotlight in a big, bad way many times. Now, in an effort to be a glass-half-full kind of guy, I’m counting down the best of the bunch.

Going all the way back to the Jazz’s humble beginnings, here are my nine best moments from the franchise at NBA All-Star Weekend.
