On July 4, 5 and 7, the Utah Jazz Summer League returns for the second straight summer. Just like last July, we will have the same four teams competing: the San Antonio Spurs, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics and the Utah Jazz.

The Summer League is a perfect opportunity for younger players on teams’ rosters to gain experience, learn their playbooks and get familiar with their coaching staffs. It’s also a great opportunity for teams to get an additional eight to 10 young free agents to workout with the team and have a chance to earn a roster spot.

While teams are trying out players whose names you don’t recognize, it can be hard to follow the games as a fan. But once you know what players to keep a close eye on, the games can be just as enjoyable as regular season action. Here’s my list of the top ten players to watch for this week.
