The Utah Jazz find themselves in a three-way tie for the No. 7 spot following a hard-fought loss to Stephen Curry and the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.

Wednesday night was a roller coaster ride for Utah Jazz fans. With two chances at potential game-winning baskets at the end of regulation in their showdown with the Golden State Warriors, the Jazz had an opportunity to steal a win as an underdog and gain a leg up in the race for a playoff spot.

Instead, the game went to overtime, the Jazz lost and the battle for one of the final two playoff spots in the Western Conference is tighter than ever before.

Moreover, Derrick Favors sustained multiple injuries during the game, which could have significant impact on the team in its final seven games. If Favors is forced out of action or has to play at less than 100 percent, wins could be harder to come by to close out the regular season.

But what of the other teams in the race? What do the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks have in store? Can anyone catch the Portland Trail Blazers at No. 6?
