Skeeter spent last season on the Atlanta Hawks coaching staff, along with new Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder. Before that, he played alongside current assistant coach, Alex Jensen, with the Walsh University Cavaliers in Canton, Ohio.
From 2007-2011, Skeeter played in 103 games for the Cavaliers. The 6′ guard averaged 13.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game during his tenure there. Skeeter also only was able to play in eight games during the 2008-2009 season, after he broke his tibia and fibula in his right leg during a Hoops 4 Healing tournament.
Skeeter actually accepted the job offer from the Jazz on July 1st, and sent out a tweet on July 3rd saying that he was on his way to Salt Lake City.
