Utah Jazz restricted free agent, Gordon Hayward, has had a nice list of potential suitors for his services next season. The list includes the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, and now we can add the Dallas Mavericks to that list.
According to Dwain Price, the Mavericks have put Hayward on their radar.

The Mavericks have already had contact with unrestricted free agent, Carmelo Anthony. On Saturday, a report came out that said Anthony had eliminated the Mavericks from his list of teams he was interested in. With the Mavericks looking to sign a free agent to fill in the small forward position left open by their own free agent, Shawn Marion, Hayward would be someone a team would obviously look at to fill a need.
Even though the list of teams interested in Hayward could possibly keep growing, there is little chance that he ends up playing anywhere other than Utah. The Jazz have already said that they will match any and all offers for Hayward, and want to see him in a Jazz uniform for a long time. If you need more confirmation, here is a tweet from the radio voice of the Utah Jazz, David Locke.
Remember one thing. Whether it is Cleveland, Charlotte, Phoenix or Dallas the Utah Jazz will match any offer sheet Gordon Hayward signs

Hayward won’t be able to sign any offer sheets from teams until the moratorium is lifted on July 10th. I expect more Hayward information to come out until that time, but once he is able to sign an offer sheet, don’t expect it to take the full 72 hours before the Jazz match the offer and bring him back to Salt Lake City.
