Free agency has begun, and for most people that are consumed with watching the rumor mill, it has taken over the majority of our lives today. However, there is another event going on that has a lot of people excited.
The USA Men’s National team advanced to the knockout rounds in the 2014 FIFA World Cup last week, and today the team is set to battle Belgium with a chance to advance to the round of eight. In the opening rounds, the USA went 1-1-1 in their three games.
The first game, the USA pulled off the upset over Ghana, then drew even with Portugal, then lost to Germany. For the majority of all three games, the USA played very well.
As mentioned, the USA will take on Belgium today at 2:00 p.m. MST. The Utah Jazz will once again be hosting a viewing party at Energy Solutions Arena today for fans. This will be the second straight game the Jazz have opened their doors for a viewing party.
The game will kick off at 2:00 p.m. MST, and doors will open at 1:00 p.m. MST. There will be no charge on admission, concession stands will be open, USA merchandise will be available to purchase, and the game will be broadcast on the six beautiful HD video boards that hang in the center of the arena.
If you are planning on taking some time off work to catch the game, making a trip over to the arena is a great way to watch. Be there to help cheer on our country!
As always, we believe that we will win!
