NBA Free Agency: Utah Jazz interested in Trevor Ariza

The 2014 NBA Free Agency season got underway last night at 10:00 MST. Teams begun negotiating with free agents, in hopes to have that player come play for them next season. Who did the Utah Jazz talk to in the opening stages of free agency?

One name that came up in Jazz talks was Washington Wizards free agent, Trevor Ariza.

The Jazz could use a player like Ariza on their team next season, especially if they are unable to re-sign their own free agent, Gordon Hayward.

Ariza is a wing player who does a little bit of everything, but plays great defense. The defensive part of things is something that Jazz general manager, Dennis Lindsey, is more than likely intrigued by.

The list of potential suitors for Ariza’s services next season is long, but, the Jazz have a lot of cap room this off season, and if things go south with Hayward, they have the room to make Ariza a greater deal than the other teams listed.

Free agency is officially underway, and the Jazz have been in rumors. However, most Jazz sources say that it doesn’t sound like they will be too active on the market. While we have the rumors, enjoy them while you can.
