Just a couple days before the NBA Draft, some NBA free agency news came out that a lot of people were expecting. How it effects the Utah Jazz though, isn’t much of a big deal.
LeBron James‘ agent Rich Paul has told Heat LeBron will exercise early termination option

Basically what this means, is that on July 1st, LeBron James will become an unrestricted free agent once again. Could LeBron, the greatest player in basketball right now, take his talents back home to Cleveland? Could he shock the world and take his talents to Salt Lake City and join the Utah Jazz?
The last one is almost 100% never going to happen, but it is nice to throw out some wishful thinking every now and then.
Chris Broussard of ESPN was the first person to report the news. Some people are weary of things that Broussard says on Twitter, but if anyone needing any confirmation, Sam Amick of USA Today sent out a tweet soon after Broussard to confirm that James was entering free agency.
LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, confirms to USAT that he told Heat LeBron will use his early termination option to become a free agent.

So why would LeBron opt out of his contract with Miami? Why would he leave South Beach with the beach and sunglasses weather, possibly for the snowy winters in Cleveland? According to Adrian Wojnarowski, who also confirmed LeBron opting out, says the decision is to put pressure on the Heat.
LeBron James will opt-out of deal, source confirms. He’s determined to impose pressure on Miami to improve roster and spend, sources say.

For the next few weeks, all we will now hear about is where the “experts” think LeBron will land next season. Prepare for that. However, Ethan Skolnick, Heat writer for Turner Sports, is reporting that all the information that he has gathered is that the Heat are “still in strong position to retain him.”
We all expected LeBron to opt out, but now that he has, expect for all the media crazies to be ramping up on “The Decision: Part 2″.
