NBA Draft: Aaron Gordon has a second workout with Utah Jazz

With less than a week before the NBA Draft, rumors are going to be heating up left and right. One rumor that was out there today, was that former Arizona forward Aaron Gordon was spotted at the Salt Lake City airport Saturday afternoon.

When you zoom in on the picture, which can be found on Twitter thanks to Jazz fan Mike Card, it is tough to tell if the guy in the picture really is Gordon. However, another Jazz fan tweeted out a confirmation.

Then, if that wasn’t confirmation enough for you, Ben Anderson of 1320 KFAN sent out this tweet.

As we get closer and closer to the NBA Draft, knowing that the Jazz are bringing in Gordon for a second workout this close to draft day could mean a lot. The majority of mock drafts have the Jazz looking hard at Gordon and Noah Vonleh of Indiana. I would not be surprised if we see Vonleh in Utah soon for a follow up workout/interview. It will be tough, however, to get players to come back to Utah now because players that are invited to the green room on draft night usually have to be in New York City on Monday or Tuesday for all the festivities.

Does Gordon being in Utah today for a second workout mean anything? There is a chance it could. To my recollection, Gordon is the only player the Jazz have brought in for a second workout. That might mean something.
