2014 NBA Playoffs: Wednesday 5/7/2014 Betting Lines

The Heat take it to a whole other level in the playoffs and I never seem to remember that.  If it wasn’t for a pointless layup with 4 seconds left I would’ve been 3-1 with the betting lines last night, but that is the way of betting.  The Spurs handled business as expected and ran away from the Blazers which I said would be a 4-1 win at the end of the round.  Game 2’s will be different as the team down 0-1 almost always keeps it close.

Last Night: 2-2

First Round: 47-31-2 (60.2%)

Second Round: 4-4

Washington Wizards @ Indiana Pacers

Wizards win on the road again giving them 4 road wins already in these playoffs.

Pacers continue to struggle and Hibbert continues to look like he has never played the sport.

Rumors of the locker room falling apart continue to grow as new rumors about George and Hibbert come out.

The Wizards are a really good team and out of these two teams it’s the Wizards who have the best chance against the Heat.

Prediction: Wizards +4.5 and Over 186

Los Angeles Clippers @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Clippers dominated game 1 in OKC and I expect the Thunder to play a much better game in game 2.

Being down 0-2 to the Clippers would probably be the end of the Thunder.

Clippers are a tough team and I expect them to keep it close but not in a dominant fashion like game 1.

Durant is a very humble dude.  Watch the MVP acceptance speech if you haven’t already.

Prediction: Clippers +5.5 and Under 214.5
