2014 NBA Playoffs: Monday 5/5/2014 Betting Lines

The first round concluded yesterday with a record high 5 game 7’s.  I finished the first round with a 47-31-2 record or 60.2%.  If I hadn’t been so surprised by the first two days of the playoffs I’d had been higher considering I went 2-10 in those two days.  Let’s start round 2 now!

Last Night: 2-2

First Round: 47-31-2

Washington Wizards @ Indiana Pacers

The Pacers found a little bit of their mojo back when they took games 6 and 7 against the Hawks. (the Hawks?)

Wizards found ways to end Chicago when it mattered and was one of only 2 teams to dominate a series (Miami)

I expect the Wizards to do much of the same in this series and the Pacers were lucky to play an under .500 team

Prediction: Wizards +4 and Under 183

Los Angeles Clippers @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Both teams edged out series wins on Saturday at home.

Clippers having to travel shouldn’t be a problem and I expect this series to be the best one of the 4 remaining.

Durant had troubles with Tony Allen but I think he’ll be set free in this series.

Series was tied 2-2 in the regular season.

Prediction: Los Angeles Clippers +5.5 and Under 211.5
