Utah Jazz: Important Dates To Remember

The 2013-14 season is over which means the 2014-15 season is underway.  The Utah Jazz have some really important dates to coming up and every fan will want to put on their calenders these dates to stay on top of what the Utah Jazz are doing.

  • May 2: NBA Draft Early Entry Candidates Released
    May 14-18: NBA Draft Combine (Chicago)
    May 20: NBA Draft Lottery
    June 16: NBA Draft Early Entry Withdrawal Deadline (5:00 pm ET)
    June 26: 2014 NBA Draft
  • July 1: Free Agency Begins * Jazz have 7 days to match a contract if Hayward signs with another team
  • Oct 30: Last day to extend Alec Burks and/or Enes Kanter

May 20th is probably the biggest of those dates as it will decide where the Utah Jazz end up picking which could be anywhere from 1-7.  The combine will be fun to watch and will be shown on NBA TV and it’ll be the first chance to really see Dante Exum not on a YouTube video.

The NBA draft begins at 7 est (5 mst) where each team will have 5 minutes in the first round .  The Utah Jazz will have in addition to their first pick, pick 23 from the Golden State Warriors that was part of the Jazz taking on the contracts of Andris Biedrins, Brandon Rush and Richard Jefferson.
