2014 NBA Playoffs: Thursday 4/24/2014 Betting Lines

Last night going 2-4 has awakened me that these playoffs are not like playoffs past.  In fact this year is the first year EVER that the road teams have won more games than the home teams in the first 2 games going 9-7.  Yes you read that right, first time ever.

What does that tell us?  Nothing really other than the fact that every match-up is closer than anyone thought.

Indian Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks

The Pacers are -2.5 point favorites on the road against the 8th seeded Hawks.  The Pacers finally found their mojo in the second half of last game but the question is will it last?

The Pacers have gone 3-7 in their last 10 road games and the 3 wins were against the Magic, Bucks by 2 and Pistons by 2 in OT.

Other than a 31-13 3rd quarter last game the Pacers have had trouble against this Hawks team who moves the ball exceptionally well.

Prediction: Hawks Money line and Over 186.5

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis played the Thunder very well last game and came up with a much needed win.  Kevin Durant played a truly awful game and the defense of Tony Allen has gotten to him.

Expect Durant and Co. to get back on track as -2.5 point favorites.

Prediction: OKC -2.5 and under 189.5

Los Angeles Clippers @ Golden State Warriors

Domination.  Clippers made everything shooting 57% for the game and completely dominating the game against the Warriors after the first game defeat.

Chris Paul will be playing.

Oracle Arena is LOUD, Clippers will NEED to take them out of the game early.

Prediction: GSW +3 and under 212
