Jabari Parker , Utah Jazz and Gordon Hayward's 2014 Emmergence

Rumors about Jabari Parker staying at Duke for another year have started to spread like a wildfire.  Apparently Jabari is thinking about staying to be able to play with Jahlil Okafor, his long time friend.  This obviously is big news because of the hype for how great this draft is going to be.

How does this affect the Jazz?  Other than missing out on the one potential superstar that would probably love to play in Utah.  Their chances of also missing out on the other guys takes a big bump too.  The Jazz currently sit as the 5th worst record which if one looks at the draft board there are 5… wait 4 guys now that have been considered elite potential players.  Missing out on Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, Randle and Exum would be a travesty after starting out the season 1-14 and the worst team in the league by far.  This draft is still awesome in the lottery though so their are potential other superstars that could be take.  Dario Saric is probably my favorite player in the whole draft and could be a great addition to the Jazz.

Other news:

Gordon Hayward is putting up GREAT numbers in 2014 averaging 27 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2.3 steals and 1 block while shooting 60% from the field and 57% from the 3 point line.  If he didn’t miss 5 games he’d be in the running for player of the month.
