Predict the Score: Golden State Warriors vs Utah Jazz

The Jazz lost by 14 102-88 against the Warriors on Saturday and now play them again at home.  One thing to remember is Golden State is really tough at home and they haven’t been beaten this year in Oracle Arena.  In fact the Warriors were 15 point favorites there but coming to Utah they are only 9 point favorites with an over/under of 195.5.

The Warriors probably have the best backcourt in all of the NBA as far as shooting is concerned.  The Jazz on the other hand probably have the worst.  Having Burks start and Hayward at the 2 makes the Jazz competitive but without a real point guard the Jazz just can’t get things rolling.  The Jazz are second to last in assists and having Trey back will most likely open up the floor and the Jazz will be able to compete better.

The Jazz have had the hardest schedule in the NBA to this point and it doesn’t get any easier through November or December for that matter.  I could honestly see the Jazz going 4-27 before Christmas.  After Christmas though if everybody is healthy and the Jazz aren’t completely demotivated I can see the Jazz going above .500 in January with the schedule they have.

Tonight is another game where I think the Jazz will keep it close til the very end and then not hit buckets when needed.

My Prediction: GSW 104 Utah Jazz 97
