Jazz vs Spurs

Last year the Jazz had their most exciting game at home against the Spurs at home with a buzzer beater by Mo Williams to win.  This year the Spurs are on a roll dominating everyone in their path.  They come into Salt Lake City in first place in the West with an 8-1 record.  The Jazz however are coming off their first win of the season and I’m sure will come out with the effort needed.

This game is a tough one to call as the line is 9.5 in favor of the Spurs and the over under is 192.5.  The Jazz however are great as underdogs at home covering 75% of the time in the past three years.  Spurs are averaging 99 points where the Jazz are only averaging 89.  The difference is the Jazz finally learned how to shoot last game and I think it will carry over against the Spurs.

Prediction: Spurs 101 Jazz 97

What scares me about the Spurs dominating as they are, they are doing it without Tim Duncan scoring as we come to expect from him.

I already placed my score in the other post, and I can’t remember what it was but I’m going to say Spurs 102 Jazz 88.
