Alright the current standings look like this:
Josh Haslam 16 points
Steven Jaynes 8 points
Cody Powers 7 points
Tyson Newman 6 points
King Jackson 5 points
Chase Anderson 3 points
Buckle Up Jazz 1 point
Robby Barlow 1 point
Tonight’s game is the first game in over a week that the Jazz will play at home. Both home games have been competitive which I figure should continue tonight. The Jazz have lost 7 straight and welcome in a struggling Denver Nuggets team. The Nuggets (1-4) under new coach Brian Shaw have tried getting away from their high tempo game which has had season success over the past few years.
Although the Nuggets are losing games the Jazz have found a way to look the worst I’ve ever seen them. All 4 games last week the Jazz got down by 20 points or more in making them look like the leader for Wiggins or Parker. Outside of the core 4 the Jazz have had zero help and if that is going to change then the Jazz will need to have help from a very weak bench.
The good news for the Jazz is Trey Burke should be back shortly for the Jazz pending a doctor review later today.
Who knows for tonight though so I will just guess that Trey does not play tonight.
My Prediction: Denver Nuggets 97 Utah Jazz 98
Although the Jazz haven’t competed for a week the Jazz are home and the players will put in the effort or they will be booed off the court. Threes will fall tonight too. Jazz win!
Put your prediction at the bottom and give yourself a chance to win the prize at the end of the year. I’m changing the format just a little. Every point you have gives yourself a raffle ticket for the drawing that will be done in April. Prize to be announced all star weekend. Good Luck!
