Predict the Score: Utah Jazz vs Brooklyn Nets

The Jazz are 0-3 but the games have been close so who knows what will happen on the road this week.

Current standings on Predict the Score:

Josh Haslam 11 points

Steven Jaynes 8 points

Tyson Newman 5 points

Cody powers 4 points

Robby Barlow 1 points

Again you get 5 points for being the closest, 3 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd.  Also if you get it right on you get a bonus 10 points so 15 for the week!  The winner will get a prize at the end of the year that will be worth it.  This past guess Steven Jaynes was only 2 points off the total score which was very impressive.

Tonight’s game is against the Brooklyn Nets (1-2) who the Jazz managed to win last year on the road.  The Nets have had an interesting start to the season as they beat Miami by 1 at home and got blown out by Orlando by 20 on the road.  The Jazz on the other hand have seemed to run out of gas at the end of games.  Brandon Rush said he’ll probably play tonight so that gives the Jazz a much needed extra guy.

I see Brooklyn being mad about the Orlando game and will probably be on fire.  The Jazz also should play hard as they do not want to be the only team at 0-4.

I’ll take this game as a defensive battle though and have Brooklyn in another close game for the Jazz.

My Prediction: Jazz 83 Nets 87
