Predict the Score: Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets

Well the Jazz came up short in Phoenix as Eric Bledsoe hit a game winning three over Gordon Hayward to win 87-84.  Out of the 5 guesses, myself and Tyson Newman both tied for closest as we were both off 9 points total.  The season standings are as follows:

Josh Haslam: 10 points

Tyson Newman: 5 points

Steve James: 3 points

Cody powers: 1 point

Robby Barlow: 1 point

Be sure to put your guess for the Rockets game in the comments below.

The Jazz host the Rockets in a game where both teams are on a second night of a back to back.  The Rockets are favored by 6 points according to Vegas and the over/under is 201.5.

The Jazz will look to not start 0-3 and the Rockets look to remain undefeated.  Last year the Rockets came into Salt Lake City and gave the Jazz their worst home beat down ever winning by 47 points.  The way I see it, the Jazz are a much better pick and roll defensive team.  Dwight Howard has had a renewed sense of determination since joining the Rockets and the Jazz’s bigs will look to offset Dwight’s play.

Overall I’m a little nervous about this game but the media is treating the Rockets like Gods right now and they are full of weaknesses.  I think the Jazz keep it close… again.

My Prediction: Jazz 103 Rockets 104
