Predict Tonights Score: Utah Jazz vs OKC Thunder

The NBA season is finally upon us and the youthful Jazz get to start it out at home in Salt Lake City against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder.  The Thunder will be without Russell Westbrook and the Jazz without Trey Burke.  The Jazz have been overlooked all off-season as a team that is “tanking” or “rebuilding”.  The fun part about being the underdog is nobody expects them to win.  If the Jazz come out and compete everyone can leave the arena feeling good about the game.  Now if the underdog wins, especially against a top 5 team, then it turns into the funnest event you could pay money for.

That leads us here tonight where the Jazz who are +6.5 underdogs (opened at +4.5) look to make noise right out of the gate.  Something similar to what the Lakers did last night to the Clippers is what is needed tonight for the Jazz.  I’ve been saying for the last month that the Jazz will win this game and probably lose in Phoenix.  I want everyone that reads this to predict the score in the comments below and we will keep a running tally all season.  The top 3 closest get points and the person at the end of the season with the most will win a pretty decent sized prize to be determined later.

My Pick: Jazz 96 Thunder 93

Now it’s your turn Jazz fans to show your Jazz knowledge and have bragging rights throughout the season!  Give your prediction below.
