Utah Jazz: Keep Your Head Up

Times are tough.  Trey Burke is out for 8-12 weeks.  The Jazz lost both their last two preseason games and looked completely awful doing so.  I get it, but guess what this season is about seeing which of the core players are going to be part of the future.  As far as I can tell we still get to see 35 minutes from Hayward and Favors and 30 from Kanter and Burks.

Yes my lock prediction of the Jazz getting over 27.5 wins is in doubt now but the season will still be one of growth and progression.  I love that the Jazz drafted Trey and that he could be the guy in the future, but let’s get a look at the core 4 with solid minutes every night.  Let’s still be Jazzed up for the season and see what Hayward is really worth and the others as well.

John Lucas III can run the show and as a starter he has put up some great stats in his career.  At worst the Jazz lose even more games and get an even better chance at Andrew Wiggins or the other 5 all-stars in next years draft.  Either way we will repeat what we’ve known all along… this season is NOT about wins and losses.  And for that I’m still excited for the season and can’t wait for it to start!  So be real Jazz fans and support your team no matter what.  We are not Trey fans.  We are JAZZ fans.  So keep your head up and Go Jazz!
