Cleared For Contact

Good news for Jazz fans! Yesterday, via his personal Twitter account, Brandon Rush tweeted that he has been cleared by the doctors.

This was  a question that a lot of fans had going into this season. Would Brandon Rush be ready to go, and if so, what kind of role can he play for this team?

Rush being cleared for full contact doesn’t necessarily mean that he is going to play big minutes. Rush could slowly be worked into the rotation. After tearing your ACL twice, it is important to ease back into everything. If the Jazz push Rush to play important minutes too quickly, Rush could end up hurt again, and if he were to tear his ACL for a third time, that could practically end his career.

If you have followed Rush on Twitter or Instagram, he has been putting in a lot of work trying to get back into form. If you haven’t been following him, you can follow him on Twitter at @BRush_4, or on Instagram at 4brush. If you follow him, you can see his progress with videos such as these.

Here is hoping that Rush can make a solid contribution and have an injury free year!
