NBA Top 100 Players 2013-14: 50-41

We’re down to the final 50!  Now it gets easier… right? Not a chance as predicting which stars will step it up or move back a step.  Should be fun and as always if you missed the others here they are: 91-100, 81-90, 71-80, 61-70, 51-60.

50- Joe Johnson (Brooklyn Nets)

With the addition of Pierce and Garnett things might open up for Johnson as Brooklyn looks to take down Miami… and I think they will.

49- Jeff Green (Boston Celtics)

Green came on last year and showed why he is the real deal.  Expect Green to spoil Boston’s plan in trying to tank for Wiggins.

48- Lamarcus Aldridge (Portland Trailblazers)

Yes Aldridge is 48 and yes he is behind Lillard and Batum.  I have my reasons and they mainly revolve around that I’m hesitant he plays more than 60 games a year.

47- Nicolas Batum (Portland Trailblazers)

I love Batum’s game and I think he moves it up this year as Portland could definitely make a push for the playoffs with the added depth they’ve accumulated.

46- Nikola Pekovic (Minnesota Timberwolves)

He’s a beast and with the new contract I’m sure he will work hard to prove he’s worth it.

45- Ty Lawson (Denver Nuggets)

Fast and knows how to break down a defense.  Him and Faried will run teams out of the gym by themselves.

44- John Wall (Washington Wizards)

The Wizards are above .500 when John Wall plays.  Enough said.

43- Josh Smith (Detroit Pistons)

New scenery with a logjam among the bigs.  Smith will get his time and numbers, just like he got his contract.

42- Al Jefferson (Charlotte Bobcats)

One dimensional but will score 25-30 a game in Charlotte as he will bring them close to the playoffs.

41- Carlos Boozer (Chicago Bulls)

He came on strong last year in the absence of D Rose and now with Rose back Boozer hopefully will be even better.
