Top 100 NBA Players 2013-14: 100-91

After looking at SB Nations top 100 players for 2017 I’ve decided to do rankings for who I think will be the top 100 players this year.

100- Victor Oladipo (Orlando Magic)

After being selected 2nd overall by the Orlando Magic in this years draft I expect Oladipo to get the playing time he needs to average 13, 4 and 4.  He will need to put his stamp on the team early to cement his position from the start.

99- Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards)

In 2012-13 Beal averaged 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists.  He will have the opportunity this year to be the second best player on the Wizards behind John Wall.  Expect Beal to average similar stats but I want to see him move his assist-to-turnover ratio up.

98- Trey Burke (Utah Jazz)

Like Oladipo I expect Trey to average big numbers with the playing time he will be given.  If Burke shoots in the 40% range from the field and 35% from the 3 then I expect him to average 14 and 7.

97- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Charlotte Bobcats)

After a less than stellar season averaging 9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 26 minutes, Kidd-Gilchrist came on at the end of the season moving his rebounds up to 8 a game over the last two months.  Expect him to average closer to a double double this year.

96- Jose Calderon (Dallas Mavericks)

With 11 points and 7 assists a game as a Raptor the 31 year old will be looking to improve on those numbers as a new member of the Mavericks.  He will be competing with Devin Harris and Shane Larkin (once back from injury) fro the starting point position.

95- Jonas Valanciunas (Toronto Raptors)

In the last month of the season Jonas came on strong averaging 15 and 7.  Expect similar numbers this year out of the big man from Lithuania.

94- Ersan Ilyasova (Milwaukee Bucks)

13.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 44.4% from 3 point land. Solid numbers from a big guy that is very underrated in this league.  He had three games last year with 25+ points and 15+ rebounds.  Ersan is a baller.

93- Eric Bledsoe (Phoenix Suns)

After playing behind Chris Paul I expect Bledsoe to get a lot of playing time alongside Dragic in Phoenix.  Bledsoe has the talent to be good but let’s see if he capitalizes on it on a really awful team.

92- JR Smith (New York Knicks)

JR is a constant 6th man that on a lot of nights is on fire and changes the game for his team.  On the flip side he also has games where he shoots 1 for 13 and kills his teams chances.

91- Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors)

After a very good performance in last years playoffs averaging 16.1 points and 6.4 rebounds, Harrison has shown he deserves the playing time.  Should be a contender for 6th man of the year as he will be behind Igoudala the expected starter.

Check back later for 90-81 and the rest of the rankings throughout the weekend.
