It’s no secret the NBA is a league ran by point guards. Almost every elite team has a great point guard minus the Heat who has a 6’8″ point guard in Lebron James. The Utah Jazz are trying to do something to fix their lack of point guard over the past few years. The Jazz drafted Trey Burke in hopes that they will soon have an elite point guard as well.
The NBA schedule was released today and there is a lot of good and bad news for Trey Burke:
The Good News: He gets to play elite guards right out of the gate and gets to learn early on
The Bad News: He gets to play elite guards right out of the gate and gets to learn early on
Trey will play these point guards just in November:
Oct 30th and Nov 24th vs Russell Westbrook
November 5th vs Deron Williams
November 6th vs Rajon Rondo (if healthy by then)
November 8th and Nov 25th vs Derrick Rose
November 11th vs Ty Lawson
November 13th and 20th vs Jrue Holliday
November15th and 18th vs Steph Curry
If Jazz come out and have a really awful record in November just know it will get better for many reasons and the most important of those is Trey Burke will be tested early and often to gain the knowledge he needs to run the Jazz for the rest of the season.
