3. Which player on the Jazz could have the most disappointing season?

Haslam : Alec Burks – It would be really disappointing to not see Burks get better from last year. Which could mean he probably isn’t in the Jazz’s future. He honestly could go either way this year.

Newman : I think Favors could possibly have a “disappointing” year.  The only reason I say that is because we already know he’s a stud defensively so we aren’t going to be “wowed” when he does that consistently for 30 min a game.  Offensively he needs improvement which he probably will do because he’s working so hard with Karl Malone but if he doesn’t make the progression we want then we could consider it “disappointing”.

L. McDermott : Alec Burks

R. McDermott : Enes Kanter

Anderson : Alec Burks. Until Burks figures it out and gets consistent minutes, we’re going to be disappointed. Especially this year, however, with high hopes coinciding with the youth movement.

I honestly think the player that could be disappointing is Favors. We know what he can do, but in a lot of games where he played more minutes, he tended to get into foul trouble early and became a non-factor. If he has an issue with fouls, Favors won’t have the year that everyone thinks he is going to have.
