2013 NBA Mock Draft: McDermott 8.0

The draft is one week away and the rumors have finally begun! Sacramento is reportedly looking to move the 7th pick, Dallas is begging people to take Shawn Marion and the 13th pick and the Celtics are trying to trade KG and their coach. Over this next week we’ll start to hear more about teams looking to wheel and deal. Could the Utah Jazz be one of them? Would the Kings accept a deal of 14 and 21 for Jimmer and the 7th pick? Would the Jazz be willing to take the Maverick’s offer as well? This would leave them with the 7th and 13th picks if they pulled of these moves. As it stands now they’re at 14 and 21 in a very fluid draft. I’m about 90% sure they are going big with their first pick and small with the 2nd pick. I think at 14 they’ll be deciding between Kelly Olynyk, Rudy Gobert and Lucas Nogueira. Olynyk is the most NBA ready but the other two have more upside. What’s a team to do? Here is my latest guess.
