Kevin Durant Needs Help But Not With Basketball

KD is one heck of a basketball player.  He has the ability to put up 40 on any given night and can single handily take over a game.  He barely lost the scoring title this year to Carmelo Anthony, his first time not receiving the award in 4 seasons.  I loved his play and when the Jazz were out of the running I was a side Thunder fan.  Not this year.

After James Harden left at the first of the season I started noticing that the Thunder were not as fun to watch.  Then it got really interesting with Kevin Durant’s attitude.  He started being quick tempered and frankly a punk on the court.  He complains after every call and even had 12 technical fouls.  Add in 15 from Westbrook and 12 from Perkins and you have a team that believes they deserve calls because of who they are.

Really it’s disappointing to see because Oklahoma City is a small market like the Jazz and use to be a really fun team to watch.  I actually have fun rooting against them now because they don’t deserve to be in the finals.  They haven’t won a championship so they need to stop acting like they have.  Memphis would have beat them even with Westbrook playing.  The only way I’ll start to cheer for the Thunder again is if KD shuts his mouth and just plays basketball.  The fact that he called out his teammates is also a sign that he just doesn’t get it. Right now he is up there with Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade who are great players but just complain about anything and everything.

Nobody wants to see that or hear you complain, so stop. Please!
