With the draft a little more than a month away the Utah Jazz will have their first pre-draft workouts today May 11th at the Zions Bank Center. Those invited include James Ennis, a 6-foot-6 guard from Long Beach State; Jamelle Hagins, 6-foot-9 forward, Delaware; Colton Iverson, 7-foot center, Colorado State; Myck Kabongo, 6-foot-1 guard, Texas; Mike Snaer, 6-foot-5 guard, Florida State; and Nate Wolters, 6-foot-4 guard, South Dakota State.
No media will be allowed to watch or interview staff, so what the Jazz management think of these guys will be mostly unknown to the public. One guy that I think is very underrated is Nate Wolters who might surprise some people if given the opportunity. He is a very intelligent player that can pass and shoot very well and he lead the Jack Rabbits of South Dakota State to the NCAA tournament this past year.
Myck Kabongo from Texas will be another guy that Jazz fans will want to keep an eye on with the 21st pick as he is projected as a late first round pick. Kabongo missed most of this past year and could actually move up the draft board for many teams as he gets up close looks from teams. Currently Myck is ranked as the 6th best point guard in this draft class.
