Utah Jazz Have No "Fun Factor"

After watching the Warriors and Nuggets and the Thunder against the Rockets I’ve realized one BIG reason why I want the young guys to play instead of what we had this last year.  That reason is the Jazz just weren’t fun to watch with Big Al, Millsap and Marvin.  Outside of the Spurs and Miami games the two most fun games for me was the Raptors and Bobcats.  The ESA was rocking both those nights because we got to watch Kanter and Favors tear it up along with great ball movement without Al in there making them one-dimensional.

Everybody remembers Kanter’s beastly night of 23 points and 22 boards.  Also I remember the team high assists  for the season against the Raptors with 31 and Favor’s and Kanter’s HUGE nights.  The crowd feeds off hustle and Favors and Hayward gave that almost every game but Favors only played 22 minutes a game.  When the youngs all came off the bench together at the first of the season the Jazz ran up and down the court and it was fun to watch.  Hopefully they get that for a whole season this next year no matter who they sign.

Jazz want to win and make the playoffs and riding Al to the playoffs made sense but when you lose entertainment value then what is the point of winning if the fans stop coming?  It will be interesting to see what Dennis Lindsey does in his first summer as GM, but expect him to bring excitement and the “fun factor” back to the ESA.
