Utah Jazz: The Wolves Are No Easy Task

So it looks like the Utah Jazz are going to be without the services of Deron Williams tonight, who is dealing with a tendon strain in his right wrist. This is the same wrist that Williams injured the other night against the Spurs when he went off for a season-high 39 points. Williams was able to disregard his wrist injury against the Spurs as he scored 17 points in the 4th quarter, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to do that tonight against the Wolves.

The Timberwolves are 10-35 this season, yet they have the kind of team who can win on any given night. With a player like Kevin Love, this team is definitely not the kind of team you want to take lightly. So yes, Deron Williams’ services will be sorely missed in this game, and they will need big performances out of Earl Watson and Ronnie Price at the point guard position if they want to break their 6-game losing streak. Believe me, this will not be an easy task. Just ask Kevin Durant and the Thunder who edged out the Wolves by just one point the other night.

For a little fun before the game, I decided to do an Add A Caption Contest. What is Kurt Rambis telling Johnny Flynn during the timeout? This is from Utah’s earlier meeting with the Wolves this season where they won 112-107 thanks to a 4th quarter comeback.
