Utah Jazz: Round 2 With Miami

With the Utah Jazz welcoming the Miami Heat to EnergySolutions Arena, I thought it was a perfect time to poke fun at tonight’s visitors with an Add A Caption Contest. But before I get to that, let’s talk about this matchup a little bit. Obviously the last time these two teams met, the Jazz were able to overcome a huge deficit to win in overtime. Hopefully the game can be just as exciting this time around, but I would definitely not mind blowing out the superfriends so that they learn a valuable lesson about team stacking and trying to beat the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have heart, soul, defense, the best point guard in the league, and last, but not least, they have Jerry Sloan. The last two points (D-Will and Sloan) are where the Jazz have their biggest advantages over the Heat. I know that last time Paul Millsap was the X-factor in the game, but it doesn’t change the fact that, on paper, the Jazz are leaps and bounds ahead of the Heat in the point guard matchup and the coaching matchup.

The truth of the matter is that it is going to be very tough to sweep Miami on the season. There is no denying the amount of talent that this team possesses, and it looks like they are really pulling it together, as they have won 5 straight games. If the Jazz are able to beat Miami again, it would be a great feeling, but it’s not something I would bet on. On the other hand, if Miami wins, I am not going to feel that bad. After all, the way the first matchup went, I couldn’t ask for more out of the Jazz, especially against a powerhouse team like Miami.

But enough with the compliments for the Heat. Let’s make fun of them now. The person who comes up with the funniest or most clever response will be mentioned on Twitter (Search for #AACC). What are LBJ and D-Wade thinking in the picture below? This is from their first meeting with the Jazz by the way, so you can use that in your response if you like.
