Last year, former Utah Jazz monster Mark Eaton held a charity golf tournament. Just like Eaton himself, this was no average golf tournament, as there was only one way to win and it had nothing to do with having the lowest score. Well, not exactly.
The only way to win was to get a hole-in-one, which everybody knows is an extremely difficult task. If that did indeed happen, though, the golfer would take home a cool million dollars. Not bad, eh?
And, of course, as fate would have it, Jason Hargett, a 35 year old restaurant manager actually did it!
So, why am I bringing this up now?
Well, Eaton has decided to have another golf tournament, and it is going to take place on Friday (tomorrow) at the Victory Ranch Golf Club. For all of you hopefuls that were hoping to enter for the one million dollar prize, I am sorry to tell you that it is no longer the prize. However, Eaton has decided to DOUBLE the reward to two million dollars for a hole-in-one! (sorry if I threw you off for a second).
So if you like golf and money, and you live anywhere near the Victory Ranch Golf Club, I would suggest heading out there. Heck, even if you don’t like golf, you should go out there and give it a shot. Hey, you never know.
Oh, and while you’re over there, tell Mark we would love to have his services back with the Utah Jazz. I’m not so sure the Fesenko’s of the world will cut it.
