Are The Jazz Changing Their Logo?

According to a report in the Salt Lake Tribune, the Utah Jazz are seriously considering going back to their old logo. Currently, the Jazz logo is the team name against a background of mountains. The old logo, which is being discussed, would have a picture of the music note, which they had for many seasons. There would be a change in color, though. Supposedly, the new colors are going to be blue, green, and gold, instead of the old colors of purple, green, and gold.

Deron Williams, who got a sneak peek of the possible new logo, was excited about a change.

“As long as we don’t go back to the ones with the mountains, I’m cool, the one that Jeff Hornacek has up in the rafters,” Williams said, adding of the new uniforms: “They’re really nice. I think people are going to like them. I like them.”

Because the change is not definite, the logo is not being revealed to the public at this point. However, based on the information that I was given in the report, I believe that it will look somewhat close to the picture above.

Now all we have to do is play the waiting game…

(What do you think of the logo above? Do you like it, or would you rather the Jazz keep their current logo?)
